* Please note all of these events are for experienced practitioners only.

May 16 – May 18 (Friday – Sunday, 3 Full Days) Emptiness Retreat Intensive with Heather and Leigh Brasington – ONLINE
Registration Open April 1st. Please contact Juliana at juliana<at>julianasloane.com to register.
Please join me and my friend/colleague Leigh Brasington for a 3 full days/2 nights Experienced Students Online Retreat from Friday May 16 (starting 9am Pacific Time) – Sunday May 18 (ends at 5:30pm Pacific Time) on “A Deep Dive into HOW to Wake Up”.
Leigh will be teaching from the book soon to be completed, not yet published “The Way to The Far Shore: Book 5 of the Sutta Nipata”. Riffing off of Leigh’s teachings from the Sutta Nipata, Heather’s teaching will offer explorations into Pure Awareness, Emptiness, and Atamayatta (the nondual) informed by the MahaSati lineage she teaches out of the Theravada Thai forest tradition, which also has a Mahayana-tantric flavor.
Leigh will offer group practice discussions to the first 48 people registered.
Heather will offer quite a number of sign up individual practice check ins.
This is a deep dive retreat, and you need to be able to participate in all zoom sessions in order to register. * For those living outside of the US with large time zone differences, recordings will be posted for you so you can participate on zoom during your waking hours only.
This retreat will serve your practice best if you engage in it as a full short deep dive retreat, not working or doing outside activities during our retreat time.
** Attending this retreat will allow a person to choose to apply for the 2026-2027 MahaSati Training with Heather after the retreat if they want to. It’s also a great retreat for those already in MahaSati Training to have their interested dharma friends attend.
For those currently in MahaSati Trainings: If the retreat grows large in size, groups with Leigh will not be offered for you during your weekend retreat, in order to leave space for those who do not have regular practice check in support. And 1:1’s with Heather will not be offered to those currently in MahaSati Training. However, you are still welcome to join the retreat for the practices and teachings offered.
